Custom Ink Colours

Mixing up those Pantone Colours for those custom ink Colours just got updated!

We just got in our new mixing system with fluorescent highlights to boost our custom Pantone colours making them brighter for your awesome designs. In this episode I run the first test print mixing up two custom screen print pantone colours and I have to say i’m pretty impressed with the results. Bright, closely matching the pantone swatch and ooooooh what a smooth screenprint.

I actually enjoyed printing this design so much I went ahead and replaced the plastisol underbase with a waterbase white make the custom screenprint even smoother and softer. What a great combo you have to see the results.

Also covered in the video is a brief overview of colour separation for screen printing in illustrator and a step by step how we achieved the end print result.
